Heather Szmigiel joined MedBest as a full-time Executive Recruiter in 2022 after serving as a Nursing Home Administrator for 20 years. She understands the long-term care industry and the joys and struggles that are attached.
Heather has been working with MedBest throughout her career. In fact, MedBest assisted Heather with Interim positions during the time she had a young child with medical issues. This way, she was able to keep one foot in the door and her professional skills honed while she cared for him.
Today, Heather’s mission is to place the right people in the right position. She feels that this is a way of giving back and helping administrators and healthcare professionals excel in their careers.
Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Management with an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts.
Her hobbies include cooking and gardening. In addition, and most of all, she loves spending time with her family and being a part of her kid’s sports and school activities and events.
