MedBest is seeking an experienced Regional Business Office Manager for a multi-site leadership opportunity supporting skilled nursing and long-term care communities in the Pacific Northwest.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the financial and operational side of long-term care and can bring structure, accountability, and leadership to business office operations across multiple centers. The organization is looking for a strong operator who can improve AR performance, support facility teams, strengthen collections processes, and mentor Business Office staff throughout the region.
The Opportunity:
This role is ideal for an experienced BOM leader with strong Medicaid, Medicare, and collections expertise who enjoys being hands-on while also helping build stronger systems and processes across multiple locations. You’ll partner closely with regional leadership and facility teams to improve cash collections, oversee pre-billing operations, and support long-term operational stability throughout the region.
What You’ll Do:

Oversee accounts receivable operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities

Manage Patient Liability, Private Pay, Medicaid Pending, and other payer AR processes

Support regional cash collection goals and improve overall AR performance

Assist with pre-billing operations and day-to-day business office oversight

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations

Train, mentor, and support Business Office teams throughout the region

Collaborate with facility leadership and regional partners to strengthen operational consistency

Help drive accountability, process improvement, and business office best practices

What You Bring:

Long-term care Business Office experience required
-
Strong Medicaid knowledge and State MCD experience required

Experience with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance

Background in AR management, collections, and pre-billing oversight

Ability to lead, mentor, and develop Business Office staff

Strong organizational, operational, and communication skills
-
Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
