HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR (NHA)

MedBest Recruiting has been retained to identify the next Health Services Administrator to provide leadership and operational oversight of St. Mark Village, a reputable senior living community located in the Tampa Bay area.   St. Mark Village is a not-for-profit Life Plan community that offers a full continuum of healthcare services and senior living options to SunCoast seniors in a warm and family-centered environment. Today, St. Mark serves approximately 500 seniors who reside on their vibrant campus.   The Health Services Administrator will report to the Chief Executive Officer and is designated as the licensed administrator of record, ensuring high quality care and the efficient operation of the skilled nursing and assisted living care areas.   The Health Services Administrator will join a supportive and stable team. As a member of the executive leadership team, you will also have the autonomy to operate independently and be creative in accomplishing established objectives.   Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and innovative leader who embraces the organization’s mission: to provide the highest quality of life possible to our Residents, embracing a holistic approach of mind, body, and spirit.”   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Designated Administrator of record for the 80-bed Skilled Care Center (which includes 20 Medicare certified short-term rehab beds in the state-of-the-art Betty Fresh Rehab & Spa) in addition to the Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities on campus.
  • Represents St. Mark Village in the local community as well as to state associations & organizations.
  • Provide ongoing leadership, direction, and administration of the organization’s skilled nursing and assisted living areas to ensure compliance with established mission and objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards by establishing and monitoring effective quality assurance processes.
  • Oversees fiscal management of health care services within budgetary guidelines.
  • Census development.
  • Ensures delivery of high quality care and services to the residents and families served at St. Mark Village.
  St. Mark Village offers a competitive compensation package, generous vacation time, 403(b) retirement plan w/ employer contribution, and excellent health benefits. Relocation assistance may be provided as needed.   Required:
  • Florida NHA license (active) or willing to obtain prior to beginning employment.
  • Assisted Living Administrator/ CORE Certification
  • A minimum of 8 years of management experience in Long Term Care with CCRC experience strongly preferred.

VICE PRESIDENT OF WELLNESS / ASSISTED LIVING REGIONAL NURSE

Seeking a Vice President of Wellness and Quality to join our client, a successful senior living organization that owns, develops, and operates a smaller portfolio of upscale Assisted Living communities in the Southeast U.S.   The ideal candidate will reside (or relocate) to central or northern Alabama.   The VP of Wellness & Quality will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for program development, regulatory compliance, culture and employee engagement, and quality assurance for 8 senior living communities that offer Assisted Living and Memory Care.   This is a great opportunity to join an innovative company that offers an engaging environment for residents and employees!   • Ensure community policies/procedures meet each state's regulatory guidelines.
  • Implementation of Wellness Programs (medication management, nutrition, fitness, disease prevention, fall management, continence management etc.).
  • Perform routine community site visits to evaluate the quality of services provided and ensure resident and family member satisfaction.
  • Serve as a mentor and provide clinical guidance to Directors of Residential Services and other members of clinical team.
  • Perform routine audits and surveys for the community and assist with licensing survey preparation
  • Collaborate with Corporate Marketing/Sales staff to assure an appropriate market to move-in process and determine additional services necessary to meet market needs.
    Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (active and in good standing)- willing to obtain RN licenses in other states as needed.
  • 3 years of experience in assisted living, with regional or multi-site experience strongly preferred.

A premier Long Term Care provider offering skilled nursing/rehabilitation services in several states has a new opportunity in Tri-City Region for an experienced Nursing professional.  The Regional Nurse Consultant position oversees the clinical services of five facilities that are concentrated in the Southeast of North Carolina. Responsibilities will include advising and directing Directors of Nursing/Nursing staff and providing leadership and training regarding clinical care, quality assurance, and best practice initiatives.   Responsibilities
  • Clinical care practices: Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring standards and procedures for clinical care practices.
  • Best practices: Leads the development of best practice and quality assurance programs and initiatives in clinical care in order to maximize resident satisfaction and well-being. Ensures policies and procedures are in alignment with the company’s philosophy of care.
  • Measurement: Responsible for tracking and trending key quality metrics, establishing benchmarks, and leading efforts to improve performance in relation to those metrics. Conducts audits, mock surveys and ensures compliance.
  • Training: Trains staff in clinical procedures and evaluates outcomes.
  • Systems leadership: Supports Electronic Health Record systems.
