Career Summary: Career focus has been on census challenged communities where I have been instrumental in raising census, increasing resident satisfaction and raising ROI. 7/2015 to 6/2016 – Executive Director at Brookdale Edmond Danforth – 36 Apartment – Assisted Living

Oversees the day to day operations and supervision of a community. Coordinates activities of marketing, outreach, resident care, food service, and maintenance staff.

Essential Functions

1. Managing and training Sales Manager while participating in Sales, Community Relations and Outreach. Strong focus on networking among Referral Sources including but not limited to Case Managers, Discharge Planners, Home Healths, Hospices and other Assisted Livings. 2. Oversees and ensures the recruitment and supervision of qualified staff throughout the community, as evidenced by good morale, enthusiasm and dedication to the residents and their families. 3. 5/2014 to 6/2015 – Community Relations Director at Elmcroft Senior Living – 20 Memory Care and 62 Assisted Living Apartment

1. Increased Census by 27% 2. Responsible for taking obscure Community with a poor reputation to making it a prominent player in the Assisted Living Market 3. Responsibilities include outreach, creating relationships with referral sources including but not limited to Home Health, Hospice, Skilled Nursing and Cardiologists. Initiating Cardiology Alliance. 4. Served as Move-In Coordinator which required coordination with Physician Offices, Home Health and Hospice. 5. Established Alliance with Cardiologist with plans to set up satellite office

3/2013 to 5/2014 – Associate Executive Director Fountains at Canterbury, a Continuing Care Retirement Community with 76 Independent Living, 60 Assisted Living, and 33 Memory Care, Long Term Care and Skilled.

1. Oversight of the following Departments: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Dining Services, Marketing, Community Life and Wellness. Each department had a Department Director that reported to me. 2. Overall responsibilities included: Sales and Marketing back up including tours, outreach, 3. 2012-2013 – Administrator/Sales and Marketing– Prairie Winds/Cypress Springs Alzheimer’s and Memory Support Residence – Prairie Winds/Cypress Springs is a Stand Alone Assisted Living Memory Care with 10 private apartments and 28 semi private apartments for a total of 66 residents when full. Responsibilities include:
