MedBest is seeking a strategic and driven Clinical Executive to join WesleyLife, a not-for-profit organization based out of Iowa, as their Vice President of Clinical Excellence. This key member of the executive team will provide leadership and clinical oversight for WesleyLife’s nursing/clinical services to ensure the organization achieves its expectations of Excellence in all aspects of resident and client care.

This is an exciting position for a clinical leader who wants to seek out opportunities to develop the necessary systems and processes to enable the integration of services across WesleyLife’s service lines, while serving as a champion for WesleyLife’s partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of leadership in nursing administration within a multi-site geriatric setting; it is required that his individual has experience in Senior Living and/or Long Term Care. Additionally, qualified candidates will have the ability to lead the implementation and maintenance of clinical excellence practices in full alignment with WesleyLife’s philosophies on person-centered approaches and priorities around hospitality/customer service. It is expected that the preferred candidate will lead the development and implementation of uniform philosophies, systems and processes across the organization to ensure ongoing compliance with State and Federal regulations and standards for all clinical care areas.
The leader that takes this position will live in the Des Moines metro area or be open to relocation. A Registered Nursing License in the state of Iowa is required, or candidates being considered will be eligible for reciprocity. This individual that becomes the VP of Clinical Excellence will report directly to the COO for WesleyLife.

7+ years of leadership in nursing administration within a multi-site geriatric setting
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is highly preferred
Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of all applicable state and federal regulations, quality assurance, compliance, clinical and social modeling
Proven track record of success in advocacy and modeling person-directed care within the health center environment; ability to act as a champion for change and leadership within the industry
