MedBest has an exciting opportunity for a Regional MDS Consultant to join a reputable Skilled Nursing Company in Central Illinois. This position is with a reputable organization that provides high quality care and excellence with customer service. This is a multi-site position, and experience as a Regional MDS or lead internal MDS is required.

The ideal candidate excels in supporting an MDS team, conducting MDS assessments and audits, collaborating on personalized care plans, and providing guidance on MDS processes and compliance. We are looking for commitment to strict adherence to federal and state guidelines for reimbursement and quality measures.

Qualifications:

● Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in MDS coordination or related position
● Multi-site, regional, or lead MDS experience required
● Thorough understanding of MDS 3.0 process and regulations. RAC-CT certification is highly preferred
● Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement guidelines
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Willingness to travel within Central Illinois to 7 facilities
